Let's help our schools shine before the new school year begins! Keep Stoneham Beautiful is organizing pop-up cleanups at schools around town to spruce things up and welcome students back to a cleaner, brighter campus. Grab your gloves and join a cleanup near you — meeting locations and times will be announced in the coming weeks on the Stoneham CAN website and KSB social media, so stay tuned! Join us for a delightful day filled with the strumming of guitars, the sweet melodies of voices, and the rhythmic beats of tambourines at our Porch Music Festival. Gather with friends and family in the cozy ambiance of our neighborhood, where front porches transform into stages and music fills the air. Let the tunes whisk you away as you savor the sounds of local talent and embrace the community spirit. Come one, come all, and let the music on the porch be the soundtrack to your day!

Come join Walk Massachusetts and the STAC Bike Pedestrian Subcommittee to improve Stoneham streets! Help evaluate how safe, accessible, and user-friendly our streets and public spaces are for everyone. This walk audit is part of an ACR grant program focused on identifying infrastructure challenges around heat islands, flooding, and safe mobility — and everyone is welcome, whether you're a resident, business owner, or just interested in community design.

We'll start with a brief overview, then walk together through key areas to observe and discuss opportunities for improvement. Rain or shine (unless severe weather)! Please sign-up to receive important information about the event.

We’ll meet up at the end for a casual discussion and share-outs about what we’re reading, memorable themes, favorite authors, and more.
Readers of all ages who can read independently and quietly are welcome.

All formats are welcome: physical books, e-books, audiobooks, graphic novels, manga, poetry, and more.

Help remove invasive plants and restore native habitat along the Tri-Community Greenway. These volunteer workdays support local biodiversity, improve trail conditions, and help protect the health of our community greenway.

Volunteers will work together to identify and remove invasive plant species along sections of the trail. No prior experience is required.
