Keep Stoneham Beautiful and the Stoneham Farmers Market are teaming up for a Fall Town Cleanup and Pumpkin Composting Event at Stoneham Town Common.
FALL TOWN CLEANUP
The cleanup begins at 9:00 AM. Meet us at the Town Common Gazebo to check in and pick up your cleanup supplies.
After checking in, you will head to the Stoneham cleanup location you selected when registering. Not sure where to help? We can direct you to one of the areas that needs volunteers most. Cleanup participants are encouraged to register in advance.
COFFEE, DONUTS AND COMMUNITY
Cleanup volunteers are invited to return to the Town Common at approximately 10:15 AM for coffee, donuts and fall activities.
PUMPKIN COMPOSTING
Bring your undecorated Halloween pumpkins to the Town Common anytime between 9:00 and 11:00 AM. No registration is required for pumpkin drop-off.
Can’t make it Saturday morning? The pumpkin drop-off will remain open throughout the weekend until Monday, November 9 at 9:00 AM. Black Earth Compost will collect the pumpkins Monday morning and turn them into a valuable resource. Please remove candles, wax, paint, glitter, stickers, lights and other decorations. No plastic bags. Pumpkin composting provided by Black Earth Compost.
