JENNY LECOQ
Founding Executive Director
Jenny moved to Stoneham in 2016 with her husband and two daughters, drawn to the town’s New England charm, welcoming spirit, and strong sense of community. Since then, she has become deeply involved in local efforts that bring neighbors together and strengthen Stoneham for everyone.
Jenny holds a B.A. in Biology and a Master’s Certificate in Nonprofit Fundraising Management from Boston University. She spent nearly a decade teaching English in Chile, the Czech Republic, France, and Romania — experiences that shaped her belief in the power of connection across cultures and communities.
Her professional background is rooted in nonprofit development and community engagement. She currently serves as the part-time Development and Outreach Specialist at Melrose Alliance Against Violence and previously worked with organizations including Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, the Friday Night Supper Program, and Art Resource Collaborative for Kids (ARCK).
Jenny is the founder and co-Chair of Keep Stoneham Beautiful and Facilitator of the Stoneham Transportation Advisory Committee, both Stoneham CAN supported initiatives. After more than eight years as an active board member of Stoneham CAN, she is thrilled to serve as the organization’s Founding Executive Director, helping guide its next chapter of community-driven collaboration and impact.
