JENNY LECOQ
Treasurer

Jenny moved to Stoneham in 2016 with her husband and two daughters, drawn to the town’s New England charm, welcoming spirit, and close-knit community. Since then, she has become deeply engaged in local efforts that bring neighbors together and strengthen Stoneham for everyone.

Jenny holds a B.A. in Biology and a Master’s Certificate in Nonprofit Fundraising Management from Boston University. She spent nearly a decade teaching English in Chile, the Czech Republic, France, and Romania — experiences that shaped her belief in the power of connection across cultures and communities.

Her professional background is rooted in nonprofit development and community impact. She has worked with the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, the Friday Night Supper Program — which addresses food insecurity by providing free, nutritious meals and community — and the Art Resource Collaborative for Kids (ARCK), helping expand access to arts education and creative learning opportunities that equip young people with the tools, confidence, and problem-solving skills needed for 21st-century work and civic life. .

In Stoneham, Jenny is the founder and Co-Chair of Keep Stoneham Beautiful, a supported initiative of Stoneham CAN, and serves as Facilitator of the Stoneham Transportation Advisory Committee. Through this work, she collaborates with neighbors, volunteers, and town partners to create welcoming public spaces, advance equitable mobility options, and nurture a vibrant, connected community.
