Tri-Community Greenway Guided Walk with Brenda Flynn

Join Brenda Flynn and a crew of Stoneham locals as we walk a quarter mile of the Greenway and highlight the incredible diversity of native and invasive species in that small amount of space. Learn to spot useful and native plants like walnut trees, staghorn sumac, and beach plum while keeping alert for nasty invaders like Japanese knotweed and Tree of Heaven. We'll talk about the path and its botanical inhabitants, and about what needs to happen to make it a haven for plants as well as people!

WHERE: Meet at the Greenway Picnic Area by Montvale Ave.
